How To Access Georgia Divorce Records

Request forms for certified Georgia divorce record copies, as well as for verification search requests, may be obtained from Vital Records.
Contact And Fee Information For Georgia Divorce Records

Divorce Records And Georgia Law
The verification service offered by the Georgia Department of Public Health, Vital Records, can be useful in dating background checks to confirm that a dissolution of marriage was legally granted. You must include your relationship to the persons named on the divorce records. The full names of both individuals named on the Georgia divorce records must also be included on your request form, as well as the date of the divorce and the county where it occurred, if known. According to Georgia law, the correct fee must be received before either a certified copy of a divorce record or verification of its existence can be provided.
