How To Access Georgia Divorce Records
The Georgia Department of Public Health, Vital Records, is a state office, but it does not issue divorce records. Rather, this office provides a search service to verify the existence of Georgia divorce records. To receive a certified copy of a Georgia divorce certificate, the Clerk of the Superior Court in the county where the dissolution of marriage was granted must be contacted. Request forms for certified Georgia divorce record copies, as well as for verification search requests, may be obtained from Vital Records.
Contact And Fee Information For Georgia Divorce Records
As the requestor of a certified copy of a Georgia divorce record, or verification that it exists, you must supply the correctly spelled full names of both parties as well as complete all of the other required information on the request form.
